Cautions on using peristaltic pump

1. If the peristaltic pump is not working, loosen the peristaltic pump pressure block to extend the life of the pump tube.

2. If a peristaltic pump is selected, the pump speed can be reduced to less than 300 rpm as long as the discharge flow rate is satisfied.

3. A special pump for the peristaltic pump is used in the pump head, the other connecting pipes are made of ordinary pipes.

4. The peristaltic pump tube inlet should be as short as possible, and the peristaltic pump line connection and bore should not be less than the bore of the card tube attached to the peristaltic pump head.

When a peristaltic pump is selected, the theoretical flow rate is greater than the actual flow rate required for transport, preferably greater than 30%.

6. During use of the peristaltic pump, care must be taken to clean the pump casing, especially the pressure block of the pressure pipe, and the surface of the pump pipe and debris of the pump pipe.

7. When using a peristaltic pump, periodically check the pump tube for wear and replace the pump tube in time.

8. When selecting a peristaltic pump, be aware that the fluid being supplied will corrode the pump tubing.
