Application of peristaltic pump in resin wet packed column
Since the peristaltic pump can provide a constant flow rate, the resin can be uniformly settled in the column, and the columnar resin particles are uniformly arranged on the column by the peristaltic pump. There are no special requirements for the pump.General piping can be used, but it is best to control the flow rate at a lower level to make the column evenly packed.
Pour some water into the column before packing, then pour the resin solution (not too thin) into the column, cover the column cover, and wait for a while to precipitate. After the resin is completely precipitated, the peristaltic pump is started to discharge excess water on the resin. When the liquid surface is about 4 cm away from the resin layer, the sample liquid is pumped
through the peristaltic pump. If you drain the water, the sample liquid will puncture the resin layer when it drops from above, causing the sample liquid to leak.
